This is another really healthy, gluten free, quality ingredient protein bar recipe. It is a healthy version of rice crispy treats! They taste so good that I have to stay out of the fridge or I will grab for another one! The kid’s love them and they love to help make them!
I compare these taste wise & their nutritional value to my favorite Kashi Go Lean Peanut Crunch bars, which cost me over $4 for 5 bars. The cost to make these bars is about $15 to make 24 bars. That makes a great nutritional snack for about $.62. You can freeze these for easy grab and go snacks before sporting events or for a quick breakfast option. If you want a cheaper option, you can substitute the almond butter for peanut butter, the agave nectar for honey, and the brown rice cereal for oatmeal.
12 oz. Almond butter
12 oz. Agave nectar
4 cups brown rice cereal
6 scoops or 1 2/3 cups of Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder

2. Heat for 60-90 seconds. Mix well.
3. Add protein powder. Mix well.
4. Add brown rice cereal. Mix well.
5. Spread into a 9 X 13 pan.
6. Refrigerate 1 hour.

I was also thinking that Arbonne’s Fiber Powder would be a great addition to this recipe – keep up making good healthy alternatives! Thank you!

I used regular rice crispy since I couldn’t find brown rice cereal and used chocolate protein instead. It tasted like crunch bar fudge. My kids love it. Can I freeze this?

I like to make mine in round balls. They are easy to store and fun to eat! AND you do not have to try to cut them!
Love these and the ones with Oatmeal and the Chocolate Arbonne Protein Shake!

I made the pumpkin bars you posted on your blog. My whole family loved them. Then I decided to make pumpkin pancakes, since I have a ton of pumpkin Bill bought on clearance after Thanksgiving, my family loved them also. The boys ate the leftovers for breakfast the next morning. I was a little upset since I had planned on eating them.

Oh Yum!! I would have already eaten the whole batch, especially on a snow day. So it seems appropriate that the winner gets a personal training assessment! I know I sure need one. But scared to know what the test will say!!
